1. Who you are contracting with
This website, rugcraftworks.com, is operated by Bloom Technologies Ltd, a company registered in Hong Kong with its registered office at 2301, 23/F Bayfield Building, 99 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong ("we", "us", "Rug Craftworks").
By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms.
2. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil your order — the rug is no longer available, we identify a pricing error, or we cannot deliver to your address — we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
Because our rugs are handmade in limited numbers, stock shown on the site is our best information but is not guaranteed.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable. See our Shipping Policy for duties and delivery charges.
We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders we have already confirmed.
If a rug is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we are not obliged to supply it at that price. We will contact you, and you may confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. Description of handmade goods
Our rugs are made by hand. Colour, pattern, texture and finished dimensions vary between individual pieces, and photographs are indicative rather than exact. Stated sizes are subject to a tolerance of up to ±3%.
We describe this fully in our Return & Refund Policy. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
5. Cancellation and returns
We offer a 30-day return policy and cover the cost of return carriage. UK consumers additionally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of delivery. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Your account
If you create an account, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use this site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at a volume that degrades service, or reproduce our photography, text or designs without permission.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including rug designs, photographs, text and the Rug Craftworks name — is owned by or licensed to Bloom Technologies Ltd and protected by intellectual property law.
9. Our liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses — these terms cover consumer sales only.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
